I orginially started this as a place for recipes and speciality food reviews. but, learned there is more to it. still recipes and reviews. but, more on finding items and reactions. i'm a diabetic who happens to have many food allergies (milk and eggs being the big ones). also, a mom to a child with a milk allergy. oh fun. enjoy.

first things to know
the first thing you need to know is how to properly read a package or ask your server exactly what's in a meal you plan to eat. they word ingredients in various ways. i always tell a server that we have severe food allergies and need to know what's in a dish. if they can't or won't tell you, it's probably a sign you want to go somewhere else.
